HISTORY

The Lapeco atelier or Lapeco as it is widely known by today, was orginally founded by Lidia carnevali and Dernini Camillo in Milan in Piazza San Babila in 1939.
In 1948 the headquarters moved to Corso Monforte 39 and after years of success, the offices and showroom still reside here today.
Between 1950 and 1980, the artistic direction was directed by Lidia herself, where she was successful in elevating the atelier to an exceptionally high standard, in both quality and prestige.

In 1980 Alberto Ferrario joined Lapeco, noticed by Camillo Dernini for his highly skilled work, he pursued his professional expertise and career with the atelier. In 1985 Monica Ferrario joined the company to develop the direction brand.
In 1990 the Ferrario family acquired Lapeco with a passion to grow the legacy even further. Today Alberto Ferrario manages the business operations and Monica Ferrario manages the overall client experience, sales and distribution.
Lapeco remains a family-run company today, sharing fundamental values such as exceptional quality and made in Italy craftsmanship.
